Choices to Make

Everyone in our current society is going will have to make a choice.  The only question being how long will you have to make the choice between good and evil.  I have made a choice and it entails leaving behind somethings that I dearly love for I see the good in them and yet I am in need of having more time to focus on the more important matters at hand that cannot be replaced by any means what so ever. No matter, how much, you may love computers; they will never replace loyalty for your government under which you may reside nor will they replace love for those that are your neighbors.  So you, whoever and wherever you are: make your choice for the sake of all of mankind?

Old Ways Fade

So many people value modern education.  But modern education is limited in its ability to measure a person's ability to perform certain duties in particular industries.  The idea of a linear measurement applied to a dynamic person to fit a variables within a job is absurd at best.  For one not every one learns, the same-way.  Some people are verbal and thus excel well in educational heavy fields, but others excel better in hands-on careers that rely more upon experience earned through training that most companies no longer offer or through experience gained regardless of educational background.  So now, if I don't have the requisite amount of experience; I am rejected by employers that don't value my ability to excel in any work environment, if I am given a chance to compete with fellow employees of that particular business.  There certainly isn't anything wrong with educating by continually learning through whatever means necessary.  But do we need these universities or colleges that charge you, fortunate just to learn? I think not. That isn't to say that all universities or colleges are necessary doing a bad-job of helping some people to learn.  But what of all those people without money or without the time to return to college? It seems that our American society is waning and if the right factor of events were to occur via natural or perhaps man-made disasters of some-sort; what will become of our modern society? Will we go backwards-in-time or will new inventions arise and move us forward into a greater electronic age? In reality, I have learned far more from hands-on experience than I have ever have through any of my college years.  Perhaps, one of our problems is we expect everyone to be linear; when they are dynamic.  One-size never fits all as someone will eventually not fit the established pattern that over-time changes to fit the current society that arises. As such, the American society is approaching that change from the older generations judgmental ideals and expectations to the younger generations more open-mindedness to accept all people for who they have become.

Should Single-men Teach?

Though people may erase the words that I write in their presence.  I will not stop from serving according to his purposes as God hath called me.  Today, many churches forget the importance of the single people in the churches.  We are not sure of whether Jesus Christ was married.  Nor are we sure, whether apostle Paul or apostle Timothy were ever married.  We really don't know, all the answers as most churches believe that they each hold the truth.  But all of them are so full of pride, envy, and haughtiness that they will not hearken unto the salvation preached to the people of our-time.  Therefore, be ye prepared for the seasoning of the salt.  It is said, that the teachers will have itchy ears.  Should a single man teach? That is a good question. What do you think?

Socialism vs Capitalism Wars

There's this ancient discussion of socialism vs capitalism. Each side claims that they have the solution to society's problems. But do they? In our world today, modern socialism is heavily controlled by the governments in each country. On the opposite end-of the scale; we have capitalism; which heavily favors freedom for and by the people. Perhaps, everyone is looking at this wrong. There are principles from both that are applicable to our society. Socialism is right that we ought to share among all as each have need. There are abundant examples of this in the Bible. Perhaps, if the people were more willing to give as each had need maybe the governments wouldn't have to waste their time dealing with helping the poor. But at the same-time the Bible encourages us to respect our government. But there were times in history that shows that even government itself isn't always perfect i.e. Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin. Then again, we have some capitalists that tend to believe that everyone should work for a living emphasizing education and experience above the ability to learn through exposure. Thus we have many rich people, a few middle class, and lots of poor people in the land. Perhaps there are ideas from both socialism and capitalism that should be implemented that we might have a balance in our society and to avoid a great distance between the rich, the middle class, and the poor to keep people humble. If we could ever implement, a system of work-first and share-second system ( the Biblical system ); we would transform this world into one with greater peace. But there are those, who will oppose this better system from God for the People; who wish to be good stewards of this Earth.

Society's Prejudice

Too often a minority in society tend to lead the way and thus set precedents that have little to no reason for existing other than for those people with a prejudice to deem them as ineligible for a career based upon their appearances. Why is that so? If appearance is not relevant to the particular job; then that is absurd and crazy. If the limits were established that made more sense and had a reason to exist that would be acceptable. But it seems that Susan Boyle has an excellent grasp of the reality of our society of today and that is:

Modern society is too quick to judge people on their appearances. There is not much you can do about it; it is the way they think; it is the way they are. But maybe this could teach them a lesson, or set an example.
Why do we judge people solely based upon their appearance without even asking them questions about their lifestyle? For example, society today, holds those; who have tattoos and long hair as being lower class. But there are men that I personally know that have either tattoos or long hair that are reasonable men of their time. So the moral is that sometimes, the hard-working person with tattoos and or long hair might well be the better candidate for a job than the lazy guy with short hair. So long as women are permitted to have long-hair, the businesses that exclude men based upon long-hair and tattoos are going to have to wake-up to the reality of the changing times. There are many men, a good portion of them are indeed younger that have religious beliefs that prevent them from cutting their hair either for the entirety of their life or for a specified-length of time. Then are those, who may have gotten tattoos but now wish they hadn't; so tattoos don't always reveal everything about the person granted there are concerns of people that may have some ill-wanted associations but that shouldn't be a deciding factor in hiring employees. So ladies and gentlemen, it is time that we stop judging by appearance alone and remember that suitable employees of various looks and personality exist and bring valuable skills to the workforce. So long as the tattoos or long-hair does not get in the way of the work being performed; then the businesses of today have no ground to stand upon and thus are setting themselves up for failure long-term because of refusal to hire the best possible candidate regardless of appearance. But there are some admirable guidelines to which anyone would agree that would best in most cases dependent upon what type of business that you are looking to hire on with. For example, it seems that being reasonably dressed in decent clothes such as; suit and tie, dress clothes, or casual attire might be acceptable to the business. But unless you are involved in a career with much interaction with the public then long hair and tattoos should have not be relied upon as good indicator in which to judge a person's ability to work. However, in a career such as retail, long-hair can get in the way. But then again just choose an appropriate hair-style that keeps you hair out of the way be it short-or-long.
